We hope the following agreement helps to assure your investment is protected and to help ensure us that our puppies are in permanent placements.

Your puppy has been bred and raised with the utmost love and care to every detail. These points have been drawn up to maintain the quality and integrity in your puppy and in the West German Show Line Shepherd breed.

A holding fee is required to hold your puppy until it is ready to go to its new home. That holding fee is a non-refundable fee. However, if need be, that fee can be applied to a future litter. The purchaser will have the following 2 breeding cycles to select a puppy at which the holding fee will be forfeited. Full payment must be received and cleared before the puppy can be released for transport or pick up.

Purchaser must take the puppy to a licensed veterinarian within 5 days after receiving the puppy. Sheyenne's Shepherd's has given the buyer a health certificate stating 1st vaccinations, dewormed, and examined by our licensed veterinarian. Should such a check result in a dissatisfaction of the buyer, such defects as intimated by the licensed veterinarian, should be committed in writing by the veterinarian to give to Sheyenne's Shepherd's, whereupon at the purchaser's request and return of the puppy at the Buyer's expense within the time frame, a puppy of equal value will be given from this litter (if available) or the first future litter. If the purchaser declines the replacement puppy, then the breeder and purchaser shall be under no future obligation and it will be deemed that the purchaser has released the breeder from any and all further claims. Advice must also be sought from the veterinarian as to when further health checks and inoculations should occur.

Sheyenne's Shepherd's guarantees that the puppy is in great health and is free of any hereditary defects to the best of our knowledge on and before the puppy leaves our care. Sheyenne's Shepherd's is not responsible for ANY future health issues and/or any future veterinary bills.

The purchaser shall maintain the puppy's good condition, including regular immunization schedule, routine checkups from purchaser's licensed veterinarian, heartworm preventative, good diet, flea preventative and clean and safe environment.,

Sheyenne's Shepherds is not responsible for behavior, temperament, training, lack of socialization, disposition, or confirmation. No guarantee is made for any other traits that may develop as the puppy continues to grow after the puppy has left us.

Purebred dogs are predisposed to certain illnesses and health issues. This arises from the selective breeding that originally took place to produce the pure breed dog. All large breed dogs, including the West German Show Line Shepherds are at risk for development and occurrence rate of dysplasia, puppies have growth plates in the elbows that do not seal until after NINE months of age and should therefore not be expected to participate in extended walks, runs, or hikes until these plates have sealed. Undue stress upon the joints prior to 14 months of age should be kept somewhat lean in mass to allow for proper hip development to occur naturally without the undue stress of excess fat.

In the event the buyer can no longer keep the puppy/ dog purchased from Sheyenne's Shepherds the Seller must be contacted and reserve the first right to have the puppy/ dog returned to Sheyenne's Shepherd's.

In the event a new puppy owner needs transportation for the pup. Purchaser is responsible for all costs and  arrangements.                                                                  Purchaser agrees ( he/she) has read all Pages and understands this contract fully acknowledges that no other terms or conditions shall be valid  to this sale. By signing this contract, the purchaser agrees to the terms and conditions set forth in this contract.  This sales agreement must be signed and returned prior to Puppy  pick up date.
